Competition Details

 

1) Demonstrate a clear understanding on the given topic area and how it can be used as an increasingly important differentiator for the client specified in the case question to stay ahead of competition, particularly in the challenging operational environment.

 

2) Research on new developments in financial institutions and potential risk areas that may arise due to these new developments.

 

3) Research on important updates in risk techniques and on how the client in the given topic area should rethink risk within their businesses globally and locally.

 

4) Provide analysis of the effects of the topic area on the client, particularly to their businesses, operations, risk exposure, financial position, as well as impacts to P&L and balance sheet.

 

5) Tie analysis back to how the client can drive growth and profitability in a safe and sustainable way and provide the risk mitigation plan in the area of the given topic area.

 

6) Description of the proposed activities, risks, action steps and milestones for the client to achieve its desired state.

 

 

RMC Rules and Regulations

RMC Judging Criteria

 

Participants will first be evaluated based on the proposal submitted. Subsequently, participants will be re-evaluated based on their presentation during the Country Level Presentation and ASEAN Grand Finals.

RMC Proposal and Submission Format

 

It is essential for participants to be familiar with the Proposal and Submission Format to avoid being penalized due to non-compliance.

RMC Presentation

 

Participants will first run through a 15-minute Presentation followed by a 5-minute Questions & Answers segment by the judges.

RMC 2015 ASEAN Grand Finals

 

Format of the ASEAN Grand Finals will be similar to that of the RMC Presentation with established industry Finance & Risk professionals acting as the panel of judges as well.

Dress code: Business Formal. For all finalist teams, a blazer/jacket will be necessary. For non-presenting teams, smart casual will be required, and no shorts/singlet/slippers will be allowed.

 

Finalist teams: Further information on the Singapore/Malaysia semi finals and ASEAN finals (e.g. reporting time and how to get there) will be disseminated to all finalist teams closer to date.
